Ben Grimm says, "It's davening time!"

Of course, if one wants to get all academic about it, one could argue that many comics of the proverbial "Golden Age " are reflections of the immigrant/Jewish experience.

But, putting that aside, one must admit that too many of the big superheroes are practicing Jews in any sense. Certainly "Wayne" and "Kent" don't sound like they're from the old country. But Benjamin Grimm?

Well, I'll be gosh-darned if it doesn't turn out that our friend The Thing is, in fact, as Jewish as they come.
I was going to make a joke about not wanting to be his mohel but, of course, the whole orange-rock thing is a relatively recent part of his life...
